.au Domain Release

Over the last number of years the auDA (Australian Domain Authority) have been working towards the launch of a simpler domain suffix: .AU

.COM.AU and .NET.AU current owners will have a limited period to claim their corresponding .AU domain. As there are potentially more than one business that has a claim, there is a process to work through to ascertain which business has the priority, based firstly on when the original domain was registered and then whether there are multiple businesses eligible. The process commences 24-March and concludes in September. Whilst this seems like a reasonable time, this effects every Australian domain, and so we need to take action quickly to secure your assets.

We will try & secure your .AU for you!

We see your domain as one of the most important digital assets you own, having a competitor use the same domain with .AU (when you're using .COM.AU) is a significant disadvantage.

Therefore we will AUTOMATICALLY work to secure the matching .AU domain for all domains administered by Potent.

The cost for purchasing and hosting additional domains is $3.50 p/m per domain.
